Maggie:
Maggie worked in the wholesale fabric business from '98-'06 and consistently strongly urged customers, and even store owners, to buy wisely. They struggled to put fabric groups together, which is what she loves to do. With access to all the major manufacturers and a long personal relationship with them, she is able to select 1000's of yards of the highest quality fabric on the market and do the coordinating for you, our delighted quilters worldwide.
She is an avid quilter. Most of the quilts you see in our booths (and soon on this site) are from her burning the midnight oil. As a proud grandma, she quilts all the time and was always frustrated with less than perfect miter corners. That's how she came to develop the Miter Quick Tool. Now all corners match!
Judy
Judy is our pattern partner. Her extensive creative background includes retailing, writing, teaching and administration of textile arts groups. You can meet her at the Quilter's Attic in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, or at the John C. Campbell Folk Art School in North Carolina where she has been an instructor for a number of years. She will also be at our sales in Nashville and Paducah this year. We found Judy via sterling recommendations as the best quilt kit coordinator in her region. She is a multi-talented delightful addition to Bolt Over.
Gretchen
Gretchen is the person responsible for web orders and show coordination. She plans and executes our annual Bend/Sisters, Oregon, trade show (aka Bolt Over & Friends Quilting Trends) where you can always catch up on the latest products and fabrics. Travel, hotels, and work with promoters for the 20+ shows in which we participate each year are all coordinated by her. Her background is in legal and design fields. She has an extensive background in sewing and tailoring, but quilts vicariously. She will be answering your web quesitons personally while Maggie is on the road all over the country.
